11 U.S. Post Office

Historic Walking TourFormerly the site of the Dow House, a stone Victorian mansion built in 1894 by Daniel Dow. The Dow family owned much of the land that later became the site of the Minneapolis Threshing Machine company. This lost landmark also housed the public library from 1948 to 1963. The park grounds had large trees, picnic tables, and a rock garden.
