A Community Rooted in Its History

The settlement of Hopkins, MN, began in the early 1850s, before Minnesota was even a state. It was first incorporated as the Village of West Minneapolis in 1893 and wasn't called Hopkins until 1928. At one point, Hopkins had the biggest population in the West Metro.
