Hopkins Farmers' Market
Supporting Minnesota farmers, artisans, and merchants
For over 20 years, the Hopkins Farmer’s Market has offered a seasonal opportunity to buy Minnesota grown vegetables, fruits, herbs, meat, poultry, honey, flowers, annual plants, handmade soaps, crafts, jewelry, kettle corn, pet toys, herb cookbooks, jams and jellies, bakery items, snacks, and more.
Location, Dates, & Times
Located in the parking lot at 16 9th Ave S (at the corner of 9th and Mainstreet—go a half-block south of the Hopkins clocktower and look for the crowd), the market is open from 7:30 am to noon on Saturdays from mid-June through October. The Hopkins Farmers Market is a true community event that may feature live music or special events—prepare to be surprised!
Not just any farmer's market
The Hopkins Farmer’s Market seeks to honor the farming roots of Hopkins and promote sustainable family farms by providing the best possible homegrown produce, agricultural products and home made crafts sold by individuals from the farms and small cottage businesses that produce them. This mission means that vendors are carefully selected and every item sold at the market is grown, made, or produced directly by the person selling the item.
An opportunity to shop locally
Shopping locally has many benefits. Purchasing Minnesota grown products can minimize the environmental impact of the foods we eat by reducing the resources used to transport, package, and preserve food products. Supporting local farmers and artisans is also a great way to support the Minnesota economy. The Hopkins Farmer’s Market works exclusively with vendors that grow or produce what they sell and are proud of it.
The Hopkins Farmer’s Market is a celebration of nature, health, and community and that is why it is the September Point of Pride.
