Hopkins Farmers Market

Do you know where your food comes from?

The Farmers Market is September's Point of Pride

The 2008 market season will be the 22nd continuous year of operation for the Hopkins Farmers' Market. From its early days with just a handful of vendors, the Hopkins Farmers' Market has grown to over 20 regular members with a full range of market goods from apples to zesty smoked sausage. For consumers interested in knowing where their food comes from, the Hopkins Farmers' Market is dedicated to preserving the meaning of farmer in the term farmers' market. All of their vendors grow or produce what they sell and they are proud of it. Their dedication to sustaining our farms, products, and ways of life are reflected in the flavors and quality found in every vendor's booth.

The finest Minnesota grown produce, organic vegetables, farm dairy cheeses, and country fresh meats remain the heart of the Farmers' Market's offerings and they're fully complimented with home-made goods including European style breads, sweet bakery items, pickles, fruit preserves, eggs, herbs, bison jerky, fragrant soaps, salsas, fresh flowers, kettle corn, raw honey, and unique hive products. The Market is also home to several crafters and hosts a schedule of artists from the Hopkins Center for the Arts. If you're interested in gems, beadwork, pottery, watercolors or paper crafts, they probably have your next treasure. For special gifts or everyday use, you'll find candles, note cards, dried floral arrangements and many other beautiful items. Products change from week to week and over the course of the season, so be sure to come often and harvest your own special deals.
